Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway Co has scheduled a continuation of road work on Washington Street along the track from French Street to Center Street.

A Lafayette high school American history teacher is still under investigation for putting up signs in his classroom blaspheming Santa. These signs say "Santa is a peeping Tom," "He watches you while you sleep," Santa Ho's around," "Santa is Satan," And "Santa is a pedophile."

Santa is coming to Acadiana! Get ready for Christmas festivities in Lafayette when the Lafayette Christmas Parade rolls on Sunday, December 6th at 3pm. The 17-float parade will travel downtown to the Oil Center and will include at least 10 bands.
