Traffic delays due to a major vehicle accident on Jefferson Island Road at Highway 14 near Delcambre. The accident happened around 9 p.m. Saturday. Early reports say there was a flipped truck that lead to multiple injuries. State police say the injuries were non-life threatening.

According to State Police, Hwy 14 draw bridge in Delcambre is close due to a malfunction. The bridge will be closed for a couple of hours as DOTD is working to correct the problem.
Detours include LA675 to LA682 to LA89.
