There was a major house fire in the 3200 block of Stakes road in Crowley. The owner of the home was just waking up when they smelled the smoke. Although the owners were home, no one was hurt.

Crowley Police have arrested Patrick James Guillory, 21 of Crowley. Guillory has been charged with Felony Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile, Simple Battery and False Imprisonment. He has been booked into the Acadia Parish Jail.
