OPELOUSAS, La. (AP) - A 46-year-old Eunice woman has been
sentenced to three years' house arrest after agreeing to plead no
contest to charges of attempting to hire a hit man to kill her
estranged husband and his new girlfriend.
State District Judge Alonzo Harris, in handing down the sentence
against Glynis Ann Fournerat on Tuesday, said the victims Logan
Fournerat and Lori Beth Johnson requested the home incarceration.
Reports Fournerat was arrested in Octobe tafter
officers received a tip she was allegedly trying to hire a hit man.
A deputy, posing as a hit man, then meet with Fournerat who
allegedly offered him $8,000 to commit the double murder.
