Williams Pleads Guilty to Four Counts of Murder

Major developments today in the Labor Day quadruple murder out of Lake Charles.
Just two-and-a-half months after the brutal killings... the suspect pleads guilty and gets his sentence. This case moved quickly because the families and all parties involved agreed life in prison with no chance of parole was a sufficient punishment.
Just this morning Lee Roy Williams Junior was indicted by a grand jury and by two this afternoon... he pleaded guilty to four counts of first degree murder and got his sentence. He will never see life beyond bars, after getting four consecutive life terms.
He's accused of killing Crystal Fruge, Kendrick Lavergne, Terry Banks and Jessica Eugene in their Lake Charles trailer labor day weekend.
Some victims were shot, stabbed and others were beaten with a blunt object.
Calcasieu Parish District Attorney, John DeRossier, said "it started over an argument about money. He had been smoking crack that night and it led to a larger conversation than it should have been which led to these disastrous consequences. "
Williams spent a few days on the run. He was captured in Baton Rouge after a standoff.
He faces charges of attempted murder there after trying to run over an officer.
For now he's sitting in the Calcasieu Parish Jail. DeRossier said he'll most likely be transferred to Angola Prison.
