The 27th annual Frog Festival is hopping in Rayne. Events include the frog racing and jumping contests, poker run, and festival parade on Saturday.
It gets cracking in Port Barre for the Cracklin Festival. Head to Veterans Memorial Park through Sunday for the big feast, which includes additional food and fun.
Musique et Grillades is cooking up a good time at Vermilionville. The Pine Leaf Boys serenade brunch goers from 10am-1pm this Saturday. You can get your fill, for just $5.
Volunteers are needed at the Breaux Bridge boat launch and pavilion to help clean up Bayou Teche. Gumbo will be served for those who participate. Helpers are needed from 12pm-4pm on Sunday.
