AOC Community Media will premiere its footage of Festival International 2013 main-stage performances during Fest Week July 1-7 on AOC 1 (Cox channel 15 or LUS channel 3). AOC will air three episodes each day during prime-time hours, culminating in an all-day Festival re-cap on Sunday, July 7.
During the five-day festival in April 2013, AOC captured nearly 20 hours of live performances in high definition.
"Recording Festival International is a true privilege to us because we know the world-wide reach of this unique festival," said Ed Bowie, executive director of AOC. "Giving Acadiana residents the chance to relive their experiences or see what they may have missed is something we look forward to all year long, and thanks to our nearly 50 volunteers, we are able to accomplish this."

AOC will continue to re-air its footage of the festival performances throughout the year on Cox channels 15 and 16 and LUS channels 3 and 4. To view AOC's full schedule, visit www.aocinc.org.
From the beginning of the 26-year-old festival, AOC has recorded main-stage performances and then aired them on its two channels which are cablecast in the Acadiana area on Cox Communications and LUS Fiber.
An all-volunteer crew used high-definition cameras to capture video from the main stage. Video was then recorded digitally and encoded for live cablecast.
