An Evangeline Parish man accused of robbing a Ville Platte convenience store at gunpoint in February has been found guilty on armed robbery and attempted manslaughter charges.
On Thursday, a jury convicted Isaac Thomas, Jr., on those charges and an addition felon in possession of a fire arm charge.
Thomas was one of three masked men who allegedly tried to rob a convenience store. Authorities say the suspects fired shots at the clerks after they could not open the register.
Thomas faces more than 130 years in prison.
