WOODWORTH, La. (AP) - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development will hold a public meeting this week to discuss planned changes to U.S. Highway 165 in Woodworth.
The meeting will be held in the J. W. McDonald Community Center in Woodworth Tuesday night.
The Town Talk reports the state plans to change access to U.S. 165 near the Coulee Crossing area because of the construction of Caroline J. Dorman Junior High School, which is scheduled to open in the fall.
Public officials and state transportation personnel will address questions and concerns from the public.
