Update: Family working with Texas Rangers to locate missing Erath man

The Erath Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in finding 20-year-old Damien Trahan.

According to police, Trahan's family reported him missing on Sept. 21. The family had not heard from him since Friday. He was last seen leaving his job at Champagne's Supermarket in Erath on Friday at 8 a.m.

Erath Police put out an all-points bulletin on Trahan and got a hit on the vehicle from Corpus Christi, Texas. It was discovered abandoned and locked and it appeared to have run off the road, police said.

Damien is 5' 8", 155 pounds, has brown hair and blue eyes.

Police also said there was credit activity on Trahan's card in the Corpus Christi area. Trahan does not have family in Texas.

Family is currently in Corpus Christi working with the Texas Rangers to locate Trahan.
