A 22-year-old Crowley man is behind bars accused of killing Ryan Gums.
According to police, investigators with the Crowley Police Department arrested Shedrick Robinson regarding Monday's homicide that happened in the 1400 block of West Northern Avenue.
"Members of our department which include patrol and investigations have worked diligently to solve the shooting death of Ryan Gums," said Crowley Police Chief K.P. Gibson.
Robinson was charged with one count of second degree murder. He was booked Monday evening into the Acadia Parish Jail on a one million dollar bond set by Judge John Trahan.
"We are still working to verify the motive in this case. Our investigators have a long road ahead of them as we are seeking one or two other unidentified suspects who are believed to be involved in this senseless murder," stated Chief Gibson.
