Breezy & milder conditions along with increasing rain chances are on tap for Acadiana Tuesday as a weak area of low pressure develops in the Gulf and advances northeastward through the region.
Temperatures will rebound into the upper 60s to lower 70s Tuesday but winter-like temperatures will quickly return Wednesday into Thursday morning with a light freeze likely.
Showers and possibly a few storms will end Tuesday evening with clearing expected and mostly sunny skies Wednesday.
Clouds will return quickly Thursday with temperatures holding in the chilly 40s. Rain will likely develop once again late Thursday into Friday with the risk of scattered showers and possibly a few storms into Saturday.
Temperatures will attempt to warm again this weekend but will likely chill down once again Sunday into early next week.
In fact, Acadiana could see lows as cold as the mid-upper 20s by next Monday morning.
