Dozens of University of Louisiana at Lafayette students now are better prepared to apply for a job.
Career Services held "Resumania" Wednesday on campus, encouraging students to have their resumes reviewed by a professional from companies, such as The Schumacher Group, Baker Hughes and AT&T.
Students received tips on what they should include on their resume and how to organize it in order to increase their chances of getting a call back. The goal is to prepare students for the career fair next week.
"It's a great way for students to bring whatever resume they currently have, have it looked over by a professional, get feedback, so they can get it polished up for an internship or if they are about to graduate and are looking for a job," said Career Services Director Kimberly Billeaudeau.
