UL Lafayette Opera Theatre presents 'Die Fledermaus'

The UL Lafayette Opera Theatre in collaboration with the UL Lafayette Symphony Orchestra and the UL Lafayette Chamber Singers will present Die Fledermaus, an operetta at the Ducrest-Gilfry Auditorium in Angelle Hall on the campus of UL Lafayette. Angelle Hall is on the corner of St. Mary and McKinley Streets.

The operetta is one of the great Viennese Operettas of its time by the famous composer Johann Strauss, known as the "Waltz King". This production of Die Fledermaus or ‘The Revenge of the Bat', will be performed in English and updated to 1976 Hollywood.

Tickets are available at the door only and are $15 for the general public and $5 for students and children. Admission is free for UL Lafayette students, faculty and staff. Call 482-6012 for more information. This production may not be suitable for young audiences.
