Three Eunice women are free on bond after they allegedly used a stolen credit card and stolen checks to purchase more than $6,500 worth of goods.
According to Eunice police, the victims' granddaughter, Elizabeth Burruss, took the checks and credit card. Police then say Burruss, Brittany Dietz, and Jesalyn Deaville used the checks and credit card to buy gas, gaming systems, cell phones, clothes, and other items.
Burruss and Dietz are charged with monetary instrument abuse and unauthorized use of an access card. Deaville is charged with unauthorized use of an access card.
