Third suspect arrested in Donaldsonville slaying

Authorities say the third and final suspect wanted in the June 1 slaying of a Donaldsonville man has surrendered.

Chief Deputy Tony Bacala, of the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office, tells The Advocate 32-year-old Michael LeBlanc turned himself in to the Sheriff's Office in Gonzales late Wednesday night.

Bacala says LeBlanc was one of the suspects deputies had been seeking in the fatal shooting of 37-year-old Adoriji Wilson. Wilson was found shot to death on the porch of a Donaldsonville home.

LeBlanc was booked on counts of second-degree murder and principal to illegal use of a weapon.

The other suspects include 28-year-old Marishell Ealem and 48-year-old Charles Broom.

All are in the Ascension Parish Jail awaiting bail.

It was unclear whether men have attorneys.
