High Intensity Interval Training or "HIIT" has become popular in recent years thanks to its effectiveness and efficiency.
This type of workout is generally only 30 to 45 minutes long, but in that short time you will get maximum calorie burn and keep your metabolism going all day.
"Everything's interval training, so if you can only go 15-20 seconds, you only go 15-20 seconds, you do what you can do and you build up to it, so young, old, in shape, not in shape, we're all here for one common goal- to live a healthy lifestyle."
Acadiana trainer H.J. Adams has developed his own unique and very creative version of this type of interval training called HIT Fitness.
Adams draws from his experience as a former college football player, strength coach for the New Orleans Saints, and sports specific speed, conditioning and strength specialist to come up with exercises you've likely never seen before.
"The thing is you won't do the same workout in basically ten months to a year."
The variety with this class means a different challenge and experience each time you walk in the doors.
"Don't wait, let me change your lifestyle right now."
