Berard is family owned & operated and the fundamentals of safe and effective moving and rigging procedures have been passed down from generation to generation.
"Today's project announcement means more great news for Iberia Parish", said Mike Tarantino, President & CEO, IDF. "We appreciate Berard's investment and we look forward to working with them in the future as they create great opportunities for our workforce."
"The new facility will allow continued growth as we will utilize the new 32,000 sq. ft. maintenance/fabrication facility to expand the services we provide to the Gulf States and serve as the Hub for our satellite locations in Houston, Texas, Morgan City, Louisiana and Theodore, Alabama. The company's expansion has highlighted the need for modern facilities so we may improve efficiencies with the latest technology to complement the investment made in 132 lines of Self Propelled Modular Transporters", says Randy Berard, CEO, Berard Transportation, Inc. "Berard Transportation looks forward to continuing to serve the needs of our customers from our new headquarters in Iberia Parish. We are proud to call Iberia Parish home."
Johnny Berard, President of Berard Transportation, Inc. stated, "This facility will allow the 3rd Generation of Berards, Braedon and Brett, to compete in the Mega Transport business globally and to continue to expand our workforce for many years to come. After almost 50 years in the business, it is truly an honor to be a part of a Corporation that has grown through hard work and a commitment to excellence through tough times over the years. I know my Dad, Roy, could never have envisioned this 70 years ago and we are dedicated to serving our customers for the next 70 years."
