Suspects still wanted in bank robbery

Two suspects have been arrested and two more are still wanted in connection with Tuesday's armed robbery at a Church Point bank.

According to the Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office, two suspects, 17-year-old Javonta Lazaro and 19-year-old Alinkay Wiley, both of Church Point, are behind bars for the incident.

Two more suspects, Jahmihron Lazaro and Mitchell Walter Lazaro, are wanted for questioning in the armed robbery. They are considered armed and dangerous, according to the Sheriff's Office.

The suspects allegedly walked into the Church Point Bank & Trust around 1 p.m. Thursday and demanded money at gun point, according to the sheriff's department. They fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.

Wiley is accused of driving the getaway vehicle.

Both Wiley and Lazaro are charged with armed robbery. There bond was set at $250,000 each.
