Sunny skies and dry conditions are expected for Acadiana into the weekend but a couple of cold fronts will bring our night time temperatures to the frost zone later this week & for the weekend.
After a seasonably cool start Tuesday, expect sunny skies with temperatures reaching the mid-60s for the afternoon hours.
It will be a little cooler Tuesday night into Wednesday as a cool front quickly sweeps across the area.
This front will cool our highs into the mid-50s Wednesday under sunny skies with lows dropping into the low-mid 30s for Thursday morning.
Mostly sunny skies are expected Thursday as temperatures warm to near seasonal levels, in the lower 60s.
Another quick-moving front will approach the area Thursday night/early Friday perhaps with some clouds and a few spotty showers, mainly overnight.
Sunny, breezy & cooler conditions are again expected Friday into Friday night. It will certainly feel more like winter Friday night into Saturday morning as temperatures are expected to drop below freezing, in the 29-32F range.
Expect more sunshine and cool afternoon temperatures Saturday and possibly another frosty night into Sunday morning.
Temperatures will again moderate Sunday afternoon into early next week with the chance of showers Monday into early Tuesday.
