Winds will be the topic of discussion on Monday as a low pressure system will move through just north of Louisiana and a cold front prepares to sweep through. A wind advisory will be the result so you may want to tighten those hats just a little bit Monday.
Winds will be sustained out of the south anywhere between 20-25 mph and gusts could be even higher then that at times. Although windy Monday should prove to be a nice day, with the strong winds out of the south we will be able to mix out our cold air fairly quickly.
Expect temperatures tomorrow to be back into the 70s, where we will sit for the majority of the week. There is one exception and briefly a cold front will push through Tuesday afternoon giving us another quick shot of some cool weather on Wednesday.
In regards to the passing front there is only a slim chance Acadiana will see any showers since the air will be so dry. Even if we do get a few drops thunderstorms will be non existant so we certainly won't see the kind of weather we had last week.
