St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Press Release Date: November 19, 2009
According to Sheriff David Naquin during the 24 hour period the Sheriff's Office responded to 48 complaints over the past period and reports the following arrests:
Juvenile arrest, age 14 of Franklin was arrested on 11-18-09 at 1000am at the Alternative School on charge of Battery on a Teacher. He refused to obey rules and hit the teacher with his elbow. He was transported from the school awaiting possible juvenile court action.
Velma Patterson, age 45 of Clark Rd Morgan City, La was arrested on 11-18-09 at 744am on a warrant for Issuing Worthless checks 2 cts. She was issued a summons to appear in court.
Tammy Krol age 38 of Seneca drive Charenton, La was arrested on 11-18-09 at 1119am on charges of 3 cts issuing worthless checks. She was issued a summons to appear in court.
Geraldine Blackburn of Grace street Morgan City, La was arrested on 11-18-09 at 320pm on a bench warrant for failure to appear in court original charge of Simple Battery. She was transported to parish jail for processing.
Davida Bias age 21 of Grace Street Morgan City, La was arrested on warrants for Issuing Worthless Checks and Failure to appear warrant for Issuing worthless checks. She was transported to the Parish Jail for processing
Becky Fangue age 49 of Andrus Bayou Lourse, La was arrested on 11-18-09 at 143pm and charged with theft of gas. She had pumped gas into her vehicle and did not have the money to pay for it. She released on a summons.
Rodney Granger, age 41 of North Bayou Black rd Gibson, La. was arrested on 11-18-09 at 818pm on charges of Possession of Marijuana, License plate required, driving under suspension, Expired inspection sticker. This was after a traffic stop in the Amelia area where upon further investigation other violations were discovered. He was transported to the parish jail for processing and incarceration.
Stacey Jackson age 41 and Dean Jackson age 46 of Sun Road Bayou Vista, La. were arrested on 11-19-09 at 120am on charge of Disturbing the Peace with Dean having additional charge of Resisting an Officer. Deputies were called to a complaint at Sun road and upon arrival the observed Stacey to be disorderly and creating a disturbance outside and then Dean started in the disturbance and deputies had to take control of the situation and arrested both. They were transported to parish jail for processing and incarceration.
Trey Dardar age 22 of Rodderick St Morgan City, La was arrested on 11-18-09 at 810pm following and investigation of a traffic crash near Patterson, La. He was charged with DWI, reckless operation, no insurance, and driving under suspension. He was transported to the parish jail for processing and incarceration.
