According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, during the last 24 hour reporting period the Sheriff's Office responded to 40 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Michael Miller, 36, 204 Southwest Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on November 18, 2013 at 10:15 am for remaining where forbidden. A deputy responded to a request to standby at a residence in Bayou Vista. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with Miller who stated that he wanted to retrieve items from the residence. While speaking with the subject, the deputy learned that Miller had been ordered to stay away from a female subject at the residence. Miller was advised to leave the residence pending further investigation. Miller was subsequently located at his place of employment and transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. He was released on a $500 bond.\
Areana Candanedo, 22, 2602 Lake Palourde Road, Lot #5, Amelia, LA was arrested on November 18, 2013 at 10:49 am for theft of goods. A deputy responded to a complaint of shoplifting at a store in Bayou Vista. Upon arrival, the deputy learned from store personnel that Candanedo attempted to push a shopping basket containing several items out of the store without paying for the goods. Candanedo was released on a summons to appear in court on January 31, 2014.
Shawn Boudreaux, 34, 179 Martin Road, Centerville, LA was arrested on November 18, 2013 at 12:01 pm on a warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia. A deputy received information that Boudreaux was at a local hospital. The deputy located Boudreaux on the warrant. He was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. Bond is set at $1,500.
Laquita Ross, 35, 135 Boudreaux Street, Thibodaux, LA was arrested on November 18, 2013 at 1:47 pm on a warrant for issuing worthless checks. Ross was already incarcerated on unrelated charges. She was issued a summons to appear on court on January 31, 2014.
Robyn Blanc, 28, 1313 Middle Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on November 19, 2013 at 1:19 am for possession of Schedule I. A deputy conducting a traffic stop on Arlington Road in Bayou Vista made contact with a passenger identified as Blanc. During the course of the investigation, the deputy observed suspected illegal narcotics on the floor of the vehicle where Blanc had previously been seated. Blanc was released on a summons to appear in court on January 31, 2014.
