According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, during the last 24 hour reporting period the Sheriff's Office responded to 48 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Tremaine J. Francois, 22, 315 Egle Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on October 3, 2013 at 10:30 pm for possession of Schedule II (liquid hydrocodone)
A deputy responded to a single vehicle crash on Highway 182 near James Street in Siracusaville. During the investigation of the crash, the deputy learned from a witness that the driver of the vehicle, identified as Francois, was seen throwing a bottle into the nearby grass. The container was retrieved. The deputy determined that the solution inside was liquid hydrocodone. Francois was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.
Luis Enrique Hernandez-Leon, 18, 121 W. Syls N Apt. #5, Amelia, LA was arrested on October 4, 2013 at 12:20 am for disturbing the peace. Deputies responded to a complaint of a disturbance at residence on Odile Street in Amelia. During the course of the investigation, deputies learned that Hernandez-Leon was playing loud music. He was released on a summons to appear in court on January 10, 2014.
