St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Daily Arrest Report

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, during the last 48 hour reporting period the Sheriff's Office responded to 86 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Beau Jaymes Bourque, 21, 110 Martin Luther King Blvd, Baldwin, LA was arrested on February 11, 2013 at 12:33 pm for aggravated flight from an officer and reckless operation of a vehicle. While on Chitimacha Trail a deputy observed a vehicle accelerate to a high rate of speed. The deputy attempted to conduct a traffic stop. The driver of the vehicle failed to pull over and began swerving between lanes on the wet roadway nearly losing control of the vehicle. The driver then came to a stop near a residence on Chitimacha Trail. Bourque was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.

Kenneth L. Mcdonald, 26, Berwick, LA was arrested on February 12, 2013 at 4:09 am for illegal possession of stolen things, public intimidation, disturbing the peace while intoxicated.

Michael Moore, 24, Berwick, LA was arrested on February 12, 2013 at 4:09 am for illegal possession of stolen things, public intimidation, disturbing the peace while intoxicated.

A deputy responded to a complaint of a single vehicle crash on Highway 90 near Delmar Road in Bayou Vista. Upon arrival the deputy observed a vehicle in a ditch along the highway. The vehicle matched a description of one that had been reported stolen in Berwick. During the course of the investigation, the deputy received a description of two male subjects believed to be involved in the crash. The suspects, identified as Mcdonald and Moore, were located on Southeast Blvd. in Bayou Vista. The deputy observed mud on their clothes and shoes. Upon further investigation the deputy matched the suspects shoes with shoe prints found in the mud at the site of the crash. Mcdonald and Moore were transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.

Dillon Boudreaux, 21, 5501 Highway 56, Chauvin, LA was arrested on February 12, 2013 at 4:45 pm for theft. A deputy responded to a complaint of a shoplifter at Walmart in Bayou Vista. Upon arrival the deputy learned from store security that Boudreaux was observed taking items from the shelves and then going to the customer service desk to get a refund for the items. Boudreaux was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. He was released on a $1,000 bond.

Emilie Businelle, 19, 600 Superior Lane, Morgan City, LA was arrested on February 12, 2013 at 7:40 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of possession of marijuana. A deputy responded to a complaint of a subject walking in the roadway on Highway 182 in Bayou Vista. Upon arrival the deputy observed a female subject cross the roadway. The subject then stumbled. The deputy made contact with the subject, identified as Businelle. While speaking with her, the deputy was advised by dispatch of the warrant for her arrest. Businelle was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. Her bond is set at $750.

James M. Cato, 29, 119 St. Ann Street, Schriever, LA was arrested on February 12, 2013 at 8:57 pm for simple battery, disturbing the peace intoxicated, and resisting an officer with force. A deputy responded to a complaint of a disturbance at the Amelia Belle Casino in Amelia. Upon arrival the deputy learned from casino security personnel that Cato repeatedly used inappropriate language at one of the gaming tables. A verbal altercation then began between Cato and another casino patron. The altercation escalated to a physical encounter when Cato struck the male victim. Following the investigation Cato was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.
