According to Sheriff Mark A. Hebert during the last 24 hours the Sheriff's Office responded to 42 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Phil K. Lodrigue Jr. 32 yoa of 125 Two Sisters Court, Bayou Vista was arrested on 6-14-2012 at 11:18 am on a warrant for Failure to Appear for Drug Court Status Conference. The suspect was located in Bayou Vista, placed under arrest on warrant and booked into the parish jail with a $100,000.00 bond at this time.
Jeremy Butler 25 yoa of 4076 Chitimacha Trail, Charenton and Dwight Collins 34 yoa of 108 Collins Lane, Charenton were arrested on 6-14-2012 at 6:45 pm with Butler being charged with Simple Battery, Disturbing the Peace Intoxicated and Resisting an Officer and Collins being charged with Aggravated Battery. A deputy was called to
108 Collins Lane in reference a disturbance. Upon the deputy's arrival, Butler was in the yard and Collins was on the porch arguing. The deputy spoke with both suspects and learned that they had an altercation in the residence, when Collins pulled a knife and cut Butler on the hand. During the investigation, it was also learned from a witness in the area that a gun was fired. After the investigation both suspects were placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with Butler having a $1750.00 bond and Collins having no bond at this time.
