According to Sheriff Mark A. Hebert during the last 72 hours the Sheriff's Office responded to 120 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Rickey L. Lantier Sr. 37 yoa of 107 Foxglove Dr., Patterson was arrested on 4-20-2012 at 10:30 am on a warrant for Failure to Appear for Criminal Neglect of Family. Suspect was located at his residence, placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with an $8429.36 bond at this time.
Isadore Sylve 27 yoa of 271 Grandwood Dr. Apt. # 31, Patterson and Latasha Johnson 20 yoa of 521 Tiffany St., Patterson were arrested on 4-20-2012 at 10:40 am for Theft over $500.00. Deputy was called to Wal-mart in Bayou Vista in reference to a theft. Upon Deputy's arrival it was learned from store security that above suspects were observed making false refund actions and taking the money. After investigations both suspects were placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with Sylve having a $5000.00 bond and Johnson having a $3000.00 bond both were later released.
Tris E. Madison 19 yoa of 109 Blakesly St., Franklin was arrested on 4-20-2012 at 3:14 pm for Simple Criminal Damage to Property, NO Driver's License and Failure to Report an Accident. Deputy was called to 261 Jones Road #1 in Four Corners in reference to a vehicle running into the ditch and damaging the fence. Suspect left the scene of accident. During investigation a license plate of vehicle was received from a witness to the incident. Deputy went to 1031 Hwy 318 Lot # 5 and located suspect vehicle and suspect. After investigation suspect was placed under arrest and issued a summons to appear in court on 7-11-2012.
On 4-21-2012 at 6:42 pm three Juveniles 16, 12 and 11 were arrested for Disturbing the Peace. Deputy was called to Filed Road in Bayou Vista in reference to a subject pointing what was believed to be a gun at juveniles. Upon Deputy's arrival it was learned that two of the juveniles were involved in a fight in the park and had left walking when another juvenile pointed what was believed to be a gun at them from a vehicle. During investigation it was learned that juvenile 16 yoa had pointed a wooden gun at the other juveniles. After investigation juveniles were placed under arrest, processed and released to guardians pending juvenile court proceedings.
Courtney Gauthie4r 25 yoa of 1403 Sterling Road, Franklin and Jonathan Bergeron 18 yoa of 2138 Lagrange Robicheaux Road, Franklin were arrested on 4-22-2012 at 10:51 am for Contributing to the Delinquency of a Juvenile. Arrest stems from an incident where a Juvenile 12 yoa was reported not returning home from the fair. Deputy was advised that juvenile had returned home that morning. Deputy conducted investigation a learned that juvenile with other subjects had left the fair and went to
1403 Sterling Road and spent the night. After investigation suspects were placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $1000.00 bond and were later released.
Christopher A. Sylvester 21 yoa of 1414 James St., Morgan City was arrested on 4-22-2012 at 1:01 pm on a warrant for Probation Violation. Suspect was located at his residence, placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $10,000.00 bond at this time.
Latoya M. Pharr 24 yoa of 1037 Ciro St., Siracusa was arrested on 4-22-2012 at 7:37 pm for Disturbing the Peace. Deputy was called to 1029 Grace St.in reference a disturbance. Upon Deputy's arrival suspect was located and advised that she had seen a juvenile ht another juvenile in the park and went to speak with parents. A short time later suspect advised her that her niece received a text advising that suspect should mind her own business. Suspect then went to suspect's residence to confront the subject about the text that led to the disturbance. After investigation suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with a $250.00 bond at this time.
