St. Mary Parish Narcotics Arrest Report

The St. Mary Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force, consisting of St. Mary Sheriff Dept., Morgan City Police Dept., Franklin Police Dept., Baldwin Police Dept.., Berwick Police Dept., and Chitimacha Police Dept.. report the following arrests:

Lucius Romero 37 yoa of 1400 North Railroad St., Morgan City was arrested on 3-29-2012 at 12:00 pm on warrants for Possession of Synthetic Cannabinoids 4th and a Parole Violation warrant. Agents of the Narcotics Task Force located suspect on Marshall St. in Morgan City, placed him under arrest on warrants and booked him into the parish jail with no bond at this time.

Quincy Harvey 21 yoa of 301 First St., Morgan City was arrested on 3-29-2012 at 3:10 pm on two warrants for Distribution of Cocaine. Agents of the Narcotics Task Force located suspect at 913 Hwy 182 in Bayou Vista and placed him under arrest. Suspect was booked into the parish jail with no bond at this time.

Rickey Mire Jr. 31 yoa and Corey Mire 25 yoa both of
313 Venus St., Bayou Vista were arrested on 3-29-2012 at 4:21 pm for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Agents of the Narcotics Task Force were patrolling the Bayou Vista area when they conducted a traffic stop on Southeast Blvd. for suspect vehicle failing to use turn signal. Upon Agents making contact with suspect's marijuana and drug paraphernalia were observed in plain view in the vehicle. After investigation suspects were placed under arrest and issued a summons to appear in court on 6-26-2012.

Hadley Chapman 21 yoa of 1263 Prairie Road, Verdunville was arrested on 3-29-2012 at 4:38 pm for Possession of Synthetic Cannabinoids and Abuse of Toxic Vapors. Agents of the Narcotics Task Force were patrolling the Verdunville area, when they observed above suspect vehicle fail to signal at Yellow Bayou Road and Prairie Road and conducted a traffic stop. During investigation consent to search was obtained with agents locating synthetic cannabinoids. After investigation suspect was placed under arrest and booked into the parish jail with no bond at this time.
