According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period the Sheriff's Office responded to 43 complaints and reports the following arrests:
Barbara A. Guillot, 55, 118 Derrick Street, Pierre Part, LA was arrested on May 6, 2014 at 12:45 pm for theft of goods. A deputy responded to a complaint of shoplifting at a store in Bayou Vista. The deputy made contact with store personnel and learned that Guillot was seen attempting to leave the store without paying for items she had taken. Guillot was released on a summons to appear in court on August 22, 2014.
Sierra R. Semien, 20, 770 N. Penn Road, Franklin, LA was arrested on May 6, 2014 at 3:17 pm on a warrant for unauthorized use of a moveable. A deputy transported Semien on the warrant from Avoyelles Parish to the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center in Centerville. The warrant stems from an investigation into the unauthorized use of a vehicle. The deputy discovered that Semien had taken a car without the owner's permission. No bond is set.
Chad Williams, 25, No Street Address Available, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested at 1:25 pm on warrants for theft by fraud and simple escape. Detectives investigating a complaint of a theft of jewelry learned that Williams sold the items at a local pawn shop. Williams was arrested on April 29, 2014 on a warrant for illegal possession of stolen things. During the investigation, which was underway at the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office in Morgan City, Williams exited an interviewing area leaving the building on foot.
During the course of the investigation into the escape, detectives developed information indicating that Williams was at a residence in the Berwick area. With the assistance of Berwick police, a deputy went to the residence on Ehrlich Street. The deputy spotted Williams exiting out of the back of the residence. The deputy made contact with Williams and apprehended him without incident. Williams was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set. Shawn P. Boudreaux, 35, 9371 Highway 90 West South Frontage Road, Centerville, LA was arrested on May 6, 2014 at 6:00 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of failure to comply with the terms and conditions of drug court. Boudreaux turned himself in at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center on a drug court sanction. During booking, a deputy discovered an active warrant for Boudreaux. No bond is set.
Andre'anna Broussard, 21, 4268 Highway 83, Glencoe, LA was arrested on May 7, 2014 at 1:39 am on a warrant for aggravated battery. A deputy responding to a complaint at the address listed above made contact with Broussard and learned of the warrant for her arrest. The warrant stems from an investigation into a report of a disturbance that turned physical. The deputy learned that Broussard punched a female victim. Broussard also threatened the victim during a verbal altercation. A deputy transported Broussard to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. Broussard was released on a $6,000 bond.
