St. Mary Parish Daily Arrest Report

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the last 24 hour reporting period the Sheriff's Office responded to 39 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Steven Gregory, 1005 B Kayce Street, Franklin, LA was arrested on February 3, 2014 at 12:33 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of expired vehicle license and vehicles without required equipment. A deputy made contact with Gregory at the St. Mary Parish Courthouse in Franklin and learned of the warrant for his arrest. Gregory was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. He was released on a $298.50 bond.

Juvenile male, 15, was arrested on February 3, 2014 at 12:34 pm for simple battery.

Juvenile female, 15, was arrested on February 3, 2014 at 12:34 pm for simple battery.

A school resource officer at the St. Mary Parish Alternative School arrested the juveniles for fighting. Both were released to guardians pending juvenile court proceedings.

Joseph Robertson, 400 Darlene Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on February 3, 2014 at 1:25 pm for theft of goods. A deputy responded to a complaint of shoplifting at a store in Bayou Vista. Upon arrival, the deputy learned from store personnel that Robertson was seen placing an item in a shopping bag and then leaving the store without paying for the item. Robertson was released on a summons to appear in court on May 22, 2014.

Davey Gober, 55, 129 Shannon Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on February 3, 2014 at 4:52 pm on the following charges:
Disturbing the peace (intoxicated)
Resisting an officer
Possession of a Legend Drug without a prescription
Remaining where forbidden
Battery of a police officer
A deputy responded to a request to remove a subject from a bar on Highway 182 in Bayou Vista. The deputy made contact with Gober and smelled the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage. Gober repeatedly yelled and used profanity directed to the deputy and others at the bar. Also, Gober was found to be in possession of Trimadol pills. During booking, Gober refused to comply with deputies requests to cooperate and swung his belt which struck a deputy. No bond is set.

Darlene Wilson, 28, 301 Carol Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on February 3, 2014 at 5:01 pm for theft of goods. A deputy responded to a complaint of shoplifting at a store in Bayou Vista. Upon arrival, the deputy learned from store personnel that Wilson was seen attempting to leave the store without paying for some merchandise. Wilson was released on a summons to appear in court on May 22, 2014.
