St. Mary Parish Arrest Report

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, over the Thanksgiving holiday reporting period the Sheriff's Office responded to 204 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Jerry J. Taylor, 53, 306 Glenwood Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on November 27, 2013 at 10:36 am on a warrant for issuing worthless checks. A deputy located Taylor at a store in Bayou Vista. Taylor was released on a summons to appear in court on January 31, 2014.

Phillip Aucoin, 42, 103 Gezzatta Street, Berwick, LA was arrested on November 27, 2013 at 10:37 pm for violating parish ordinances of public drinking/open containers prohibited and littering prohibited. He was also charged on a warrant for probation violation. A deputy responded to a report of a suspicious person on Highway 90 in Bayou Vista. Upon arrival, the deputy located a male subject, identified as Aucoin, sitting on the side of the shoulder of Highway 90. The deputy smelled the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on Aucoin's breath and person and also observed empty glass beer bottles near Aucoin and his bicycle. The deputy also learned that Aucoin held an active warrant for his arrest. Aucoin was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. Bond is set at $6,000.

Johnny Jones, 36, 2050 Millerville Road, Baton Rouge, LA was arrested on November 28, 2013 at 4:31 am for driving while intoxicated. A deputy conducted a traffic stop on a motorcyclist who was driving recklessly on Highway 90 near the Highway 182 junction in Ricohoc. Upon making contact with the driver, identified as Jones, the deputy smelled the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath and person. Jones performed poorly on the field sobriety test and later registered a .183g% blood alcohol concentration on the breath test. Jones was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. He was released on a $2,500 bond.

Gail Black, 46, 326 Nassau Road, Houma, LA was arrested on November 29, 2013 at 5:23 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of driving while intoxicated. A deputy made contact with Black who was walking on Highway 90 near Garden City. Black told the deputy her vehicle ran out of gas. While speaking with Black, the deputy learned that she held an active warrant for her arrest. Black was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. Bond is set at $2,500.

Mathew P. Delahoussaye, Jr., 24, 111 Cajun Way Lane, Amelia, LA was arrested on November 29, 2013 at 9:45 am for terrorizing. A deputy responded to a complaint from a hotel in Amelia in reference to an employee threatening to burn down the business. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that Delahoussaye made the threat because of a delay in receiving his paycheck due to the holiday. Delahoussaye was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.

Ricky Tate, Jr., 31, 4685 Irish Bend Road, Franklin, LA was arrested on November 29, 2013 at 2:04 pm on a warrant from Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office for felony theft. A deputy located Tate at his residence on the warrant. Tate was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.

Shane V. Concienne, 36, 223 Belanger Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on November 30, 2013 at 3:27 am for domestic abuse battery (strangulation) and domestic abuse battery. Deputies responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in progress at a residence on Saturn Road in Bayou Vista. While en route, a deputy received additional information that a male subject involved left the residence in a vehicle. The deputy located the vehicle, conducted a stop, and made contact with the driver who was identified as Concienne. Meanwhile, another deputy made contact with two female victims at the residence. During the course of the investigation, deputies learned that Concienne grabbed a female victim by the neck pushing her into a wall. Earlier that day, Concienne pushed the other female victim. Concienne was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.

Brandon Barrilleaux, 29, 222 Mars Road, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on November 30, 2013 at 1:57 pm for theft. A deputy investigating a complaint of a gun theft learned that Barrilleaux had sold 2 rifles that were reportedly stolen. Barrilleaux was released on a summons to appear in court on January 31, 2014.

Paul Daigle, 35, 420 Railroad Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on November 30, 2013 at 11:01 am on a warrant from Morgan City Police for theft by shoplifting. A deputy received information that Daigle was at a residence in Berwick. Daigle was located on Cantrell Street on the warrant. He was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.

Bryan K. Wright, 39, 102 Dotties Lane, Franklin, LA was arrested on November 30, 2013 at 6:03 pm for possession of Schedule I, possession of drug paraphernalia, and on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of driving under suspension and failure to use a seatbelt. Deputies responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at a residence on Dotties Lane. Upon arrival, the deputies learned that a male subject was running out the back door of the home. The subject was apprehended and detained. During the course of the investigation, deputies learned that Wright and a female subject had been involved in an argument. While speaking with Wright, deputies smelled the odor of marijuana, received consent to search the residence, and located a plastic bag containing the illegal drug which belonged to Wright. Deputies also located several items of drug paraphernalia. Deputies also discovered that Wright held an active warrant for his arrest. Wright was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.

Luke Lewis, 30, 401 Bert Street, Jeanerette, LA was arrested on November 30, 2013 at 7:02 pm for unauthorized entry of an inhabited dwelling. A deputy responded to a complaint of unauthorized entry. Upon arrival, the deputy learned that Lewis entered a home without permission. Lewis was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.

Larry Singleton, Jr., 31, 11888 Long Ridge Avenue, Baton Rouge, LA was arrested on December 1, 2013 at 1:00 pm for possession of Schedule I, possession of drug paraphernalia, illegal carrying of weapons, possession of a firearm in the presence of illegal narcotics, and a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of driving under suspension and license plate light required. A deputy responded to a complaint of trespassing on property on Avoca Island. The deputy located a male subject, identified as Singleton, walking on a roadway with a shotgun. The deputy ordered Singleton to place the weapon on the ground. Singleton complied. During the course of the investigation, Singleton was found to be in possession of another gun concealed on his person. Also, the deputy smelled the odor of burning marijuana. Singleton was subsequently found to be in possession of the illegal drug and rolling papers. Singleton was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.

Leroy Bailey, 28, Solar Apt. #209, Morgan City, LA was arrested on December 1, 2013 at 12:31 pm for theft. A deputy responded to a complaint of a theft at a store in Bayou Vista. Upon arrival, the deputy learned from store personnel that Bailey was seen removing a mobile phone case from the packaging and concealing it in his pants. Bailey then left the store without paying for the item. Bailey was released on a summons to appear in court on March 26, 2014.

Megan Fontenot, 25, 1206 Clement Lane, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on December 1, 2013 at 2:23 pm on a warrant for probation violation. A deputy conducting a follow up to an earlier complaint made contact with Fontenot at a residence on Clement Lane and learned of the warrant for her arrest. Fontenot was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. Bond is set at $5,000.

Juvenile female, 16, Franklin, LA was arrested on December 1, 2013 at 8:42 pm for ungovernable juvenile. A deputy responded to a request to check on a juvenile's welfare. During the course of the investigation, the deputy located the juvenile female who refused to comply with her guardian's requests to stay home. The juvenile was transported to the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office in Franklin. She was later released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.

Gary Shene, 45, 147 James Dr. Albany, GA was arrested on November 27, 2013 at 3:19 pm for possession of Schedule I (marijuana) and violation of a controlled dangerous substance law. Detectives of the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division conducting an investigation into marijuana that was found in a vehicle obtained a warrant for Shene's arrest. Shene was being bonded out on prior charges at the St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center in Centerville when he was arrested on the above warrant. He was later released on a $3,500 bond.
