St. Mary Parish Arrest Report

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, during the last 24 hour reporting period the Sheriff's Office responded to 52 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Shane Paul Scully, 25, 39 Glenwood Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on October 30, 2013 at 8:51 am on warrants from St. Martin Parish for failure to appear on boating safety violations. A deputy located Scully at his residence on the warrants. Scully was transported to the parish jail for booking. He was later transferred to another jurisdiction.

Clarence Woods, 19, 415 Taft Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on October 30, 2013 at 10:03 am on warrants from Lafayette for simple burglary. A deputy located Woods at the St. Mary Parish Courthouse in Franklin. Woods was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.

Angie Lafleur, 33, 113 Honey Lane, Morgan City, LA was arrested on October 30, 2013 at 10:17 am on a warrant for failure to appear on the charges of operating a vehicle with improper tail lights and operating a vehicle without proof of insurance. A deputy located Lafleur at the St. Mary Parish Courthouse in Franklin. She was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. Lafleur was released on a $334.50 bond.

Juvenile male, 15, Patterson, LA was arrested on October 30, 2013 at 11:27 pm for ungovernable juvenile and resisting an officer. A deputy responded to a report of a ungovernable juvenile. During the course of the investigation, the deputy learned that the teen refused to go to school. Upon his arrest, the juvenile pulled away from a deputy. The juvenile was released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.

Allegra Ackerman, 32, 1156 Sydney Lane #12, Franklin, LA was arrested on October 31, 2013 at 5:00 pm for hit and run driving. A deputy responded to a complaint of a hit and run crash near the intersection of Highway 317 and Highway 182. While speaking to the driver who was victim in the hit and run, the deputy was told by a passing motorist that another vehicle was in the ditch further down the road. The deputy located the driver of the second vehicle and identified her as Ackerman. Ackerman initially told the deputy she was not involved in the hit and run. However, after being asked to return to the scene for identification purposes, Ackerman admitted to having hit the vehicle. Ackerman was released on a summons to appear in court on January 10, 2014.

Iris Martinez, 22, 804 Duval Street, Amelia, LA was arrested on October 30, 2013 at 4:45 pm for theft of goods. A deputy responded to complaint of shoplifting at a store in Bayou Vista. Upon arrival, the deputy learned from store personnel that Martinez was seen taking items and concealing them in her purse before attempting to leave the store without paying for the goods. Martinez was released on a summons to appear in court on January 10, 2014.

Deven W. Vining, 20, 806 Red Cypress Road, Patterson, LA was arrested on October 30, 2013 at 6:27 pm on a warrant for failure to comply with the terms and conditions of drug court. A deputy located Vining at his residence on the warrant. Vining was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. Bond is set at $100,000.
