St. Mary Parish Arrest Report

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, during the last 24 hour reporting period the Sheriff's Office responded to 37 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Nicole Fisher, 41, 518 Belanger Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on February 6, 2013 at 12:58 pm for theft. A deputy responded to a complaint of a shoplifter at Walmart in Bayou Vista. Upon arrival the deputy learned from store security that Fisher was observed placing items in her purse. Fisher then failed to pay for the merchandise before leaving the store. She was released on a summons to appear in court on May 21, 2013.

Vincent Ardell Thomas, Jr., 19, 716 4th Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on February 6, 2013 at 8:00 pm at the SMPSO in Morgan City on warrants for first degree robbery and simple battery. On February 2, 2013 the SMPSO received a complaint of a robbery. The victim stated that while walking on Delmar Road in Bayou Vista he was approached by two males who demanded his mobile phone. When the victim refused the two male subjects struck him and took the victim's phone and money. During the course of the investigation Thomas was identified as a suspect and warrants were issued for his arrest. He was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.

Nancy Comeaux, 53, 126 Moffet Court, Morgan City, LA was arrested on February 6, 2013 at 9:35 am on a warrant for possession of Schedule III (Hydrocodone). Comeaux turned herself in to the SMPSO in Morgan City after learning of the warrant for her arrest. The warrant stems from an investigation conducted by the Detectives of the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division in March of 2012. While patrolling the Morgan City area, Narcotics Division Detectives conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle that failed to signal a turn. Contact was made with the driver who was identified as Comeaux. During the course of the investigation, detectives located a suspected Narco pill on her person. Lab results confirmed that the pill does contain Hydrocodone and a warrant was issued for her arrest. No bond is set.
