St. Mary Daily Arrest Reports

According to St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert, during the last 24 hour reporting period the Sheriff's Office responded to 50 complaints and reports the following arrests:

Earline Ann Sam, 31, 127 Poncio Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on February 5, 2013 at 10:09 am at the SMPSO in Morgan City on warrants for four counts of issuing worthless checks. Sam was released on a summons to appear in court on May 21, 2013.

Pansy Ardeneaux, 39, 110 South Hamner Avenue, Lafayette, LA was arrested on February 5, 2013 at 10:11 am at the SMPSO in Franklin for forgery. A detective investigating a complaint of a forgery learned that Ardeneaux signed the victim's name on a paycheck and then deposited the check. Ardeneaux was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.

Tony Dwayne Teague, 44, 109 Sebby Lane, Bayou Vista, LA was arrested on February 5, 2013 at 4:39 pm for two counts of theft by fraud.

Lance Tyler Ashmore, 20, 1108 Chester Bowls Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on February 5, 2013 at 4:39 pm for theft by fraud.

A deputy responded to a complaint of a theft at Whiskey Heaven bar in Bayou Vista. Upon arrival the deputy learned from the complainant and a witness that two male subjects, identified as Teague and Ashmore, cashed in multiple fake poker machine tickets at the business. Through further investigation the deputy discovered that a third business, the Anchor Lounge in Bayou Vista, fell victim to their scam. Teague is identified as the subject who cashed in a photocopied poker machine ticket at that business. Both suspects were already incarcerated at the time of their arrest. Ashmore was taken into custody on February 4, 2013 on related charges. Teague was incarcerated on a SMPSO warrant. No bond is set.
Whitney Ann Klein, 48, 111 Pecan Lane, Patterson, LA was arrested on February 5, 2013 at 5:56 pm for theft. A deputy patrolling the Bayou Vista area responded to a complaint of a theft at Walmart in Bayou Vista. Upon arrival the deputy learned from store security that Klein was observed exiting the building with a shopping cart containing electronics and a pressure washer. During the course of the investigation the deputy learned that Klein did not pay for the items before leaving the store. Klein was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.

Davey Wayne Gober, 55, 129 Shannon Street, Patterson, LA was arrested on February 5, 2013 at 9:00 pm for disturbing the peace intoxicated. A deputy patrolling the Bayou Vista area responded to a complaint of a disturbance on Shannon Street in Patterson. Upon arrival the deputy observed a subject stumbling away from a residence. The deputy made contact with the subject, identified as Gober, and detected the strong odor of alcohol on his person. While speaking with Gober, he began yelling and refused the deputy's requests to stop. Gober was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. His bond is set at $250.

Michael Aucoin, 53, 3032 Diane Street, Morgan City, LA was arrested on February 5, 2013 at 8:54 pm on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of criminal neglect of family. A deputy responding to a complaint of a disturbance on Shannon Street in Patterson made contact with Aucoin and learned of the warrant for his arrest. Aucoin was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. His bond is set at $10,133.99.

Lee Boudreaux, 38, 759 Magnolia Street, Amelia, LA was arrested on February 6, 2013 at 1:45 am for second degree battery and on a warrant for theft. A deputy responded to Teche Regional Medical Center in reference to a battery that occurred in Amelia. Upon arrival the deputy learned from the elderly victim that he and Lee were arguing when Lee pushed him to the ground. The victim received treatment for a broken wrist. Lee was located at his address listed above. Following an investigation he was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. No bond is set.

Darrel Legnon, Jr., 24, 1300 Ridgefield Avenue Apt. #812 was arrested on February 6, 2013 at 5:15 am on a warrant from the Thibodaux Police Department for failure to appear on the charge fo theft. A deputy responding to a single vehicle crash on Lake Palourde Road in Amelia identified Legnon as the driver. The deputy conducted a warrants check and learned of the warrant for Legnon's arrest. He was transported to the parish jail for booking and incarceration. His bond is set at $2,500.
