Horses can be calm, patient and intelligent animals, who know what their rider want and need on a particular day. In this segment of "Spirit of Acadiana", Scott Bradza shows that those particular horses can break barriers for amazing people through Therapeutic Riding.
Acadiana Therapeutic Riding organization (ATRO) will host its 3rd Annual Family Fun day on Saturday, September 14 from 10 am until 2 p.m. The fun day will include equine activities, food and drinks. This event will be held at the "Cabbage Patch" next to Blackham Coliseum and the Ira Nelson Horticulture Center. All monies collected at this event will benefit ATRO to help keep riding therapy affordable.
