" A road like this right here is going to alleviate some traffic that would normally stack up at Ambassador Caffery and Johnston street. It gives people a way who are trying to get in that general area of town, but don't need to go to that intersection; a different route to get to things like our public library and the businesses out there on Johnston street." That's what City-Parish President Joey Durel had to say about the new Rue De Belier opening. The ribbon cutting ceremony took place on Wednesday (September 30) just south of the round-about near Ridge Road. Durel was joined by other LCG officials for the re-opening.
