BENTON, La. (AP) - Authorities in Bossier Parish are looking for an east Texas man missing since a Wednesday boating accident at the Red River Marina.
One man was injured in the accident. He was airlifted to the LSU hospital with a head injury and hypothermia.
KSLA TV reports the search for the other man was suspended Wednesday night but resumed early Thursday.
Bossier Sheriff Office spokesman Lt. Bill Davis says authorities believe the fishermen's boat hit a rock-jetty, or cluster of rocks, throwing them out of the boat.
The Caddo and Bossier sheriff's offices have been involved in the search along with the state Wildlife and Fisheries Department and fire departments from South Bossier and Bienville Parish.
The victim's names have not been released.
