An increasingly wet scenario is starting to shape up for the end of the weekend as a weak cold front gets ready to move across Acadiana.
Showers will start to pop up through out most of south Louisiana by mid morning on Sunday and it could be quite some time before it starts to clear up.
The wet weather will continue through the afternoon and evening with the occasional rumble of thunder a very likely possibility in the afternoon.
It will start to dry up slightly Monday afternoon but not for long as the next system pushes through on Tuesday sparking another round of showers.
Deep south west flow will set up for the majority of the week, typically a pattern like this indicates a good deal of cloud cover and can keep the atmosphere unsettled.
Temperatures after the front passes on Monday will cool slightly but not by much. For the most part temperatures will remain fairly pleasant this week.
