Police: Shots Fired Near J. S. Clark Leadership Academy

An Opelousas charter school was placed on lockdown this morning after gunshots were fired near the campus. Opelousas police say witnesses reported hearing five shots within a block of the J. S. Clark Leadership Academy. One suspect is in custody, and police say they are looking for two other possible suspects.
