Police Seek Public's Help in Identifying Vehicles in Lydia Robberies

Detectives with the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office were able to obtain a composite sketch of a suspect in the recent burglaries around the Patoutville and Lydia area. One of the suspects appears to be between 40 and 50 years old, black male.

Witnesses have seen multiple vehicles possibly involved and are as follows:

· Compact white car

· Green car

· Red SUV

· A small white car possibly Ford Taurus or Camry

· A dark blue Ford Taurus or Camry

· Tan or Pewter pickup truck, long wheel base, chrome rims

· Red pickup truck

· Dark blue or black pickup truck

Sheriff Louis Ackal has ordered a “full court press” in the investigations of the burglaries. He is utilizing every available resource from the Sheriff’s Office and is working with other law enforcement agencies to put an end to the rash of burglaries. Again, we are asking for the public to call in any suspicious vehicles or individuals at 337-369-3711.
