Police are investigating the murder of 50-year-old Kenneth Morrow in Jennings. The man was shot on the 1200 block of South Main Street in the driveway outside his house. Family said he was a loving father of three children.
"He was a brother, a dad, an uncle, a cousin. Why would you take someone's life, for what?," said Morrow's aunt Renee Hawkins.
The family said Morrow moved to Jennings two years ago from California and often sat on his porch. According to the incident report, Morrow's cousin reported the homicide. Hawkins said she couldn't even begin to guess at a motive.
"Oh gosh who did it? Who would do something like that and why? For what reason? He never, to my knowledge, bothered anybody," said Hawkins.
Police haven't arrested anyone, but identified a person of interest and are talking with witnesses.
"So who ever did it, I pray to god, that they will come forward and turn themselves in," said Hawkins.
The family says Morrow will truly be missed.
