A Crowley man is charged with burglary after DNA links him to the crimes.
According to Chief K.P Gibson, in February 2013 there were several burglaries in the 1100 block of West Mill Street.
"Officers recovered DNA samples from the scene of three (3) vehicle burglaries in February. As the investigation unfolded, a possible suspect was identified. A DNA comparison was requested and completed through the Acadiana Crime Lab. The crime lab was able to confirm that the DNA samples matched our suspect" stated Gibson.
Crowley Police have charged 20-year-old Blake Laglinais for three (3) counts of vehicle burglary. He has been booked into the Acadia Parish Jail.
