Opelousas pair arrested after high-speed chase on I-10

Two Opelousas men are behind bars and another is wanted after leading Crowley police on a high-speed chase down I-10 this morning.

Brian Veals and Nakia Ramar are both charged with felony false imprisonment, resisting arrest, and resisting an officer by flight.

Officers responded early this morning to a possible kidnapping in the 1400 block of North Avenue J.
When they arrived, they saw the suspects driving away from the scene. The officers chased the suspects across the Lafayette Parish line and into Scott, where the car crashed.

A third suspect, 19-year-old Willie Isaiah Keys, is wanted in connection with the chase. If you know his whereabouts, call Acadia Parish Crime Stoppers at 789-TIPS.
