MPCS announces 2014 Games of Acadiana honorees

The mission of Miles Perret Cancer Services (MPCS) is to help those fighting, surviving, and living with cancer. MPCS is especially excited to honor all survivors from Evangeline and St. Landry parishes on Game Day happening Saturday, August 16th.

Every year, MPCS selects a person or group to honor at Games of Acadiana. MPCS chose survivors from these parishes as a way to recognize families fighting cancer throughout Acadiana. Honorees and all survivors are invited to join the Survivor Walk during Opening Ceremonies to kick off Game Day.

"We have nearly 600 clients from these two parishes," says Executive Director Nicole Jones. "We want
people to know that our services extend far beyond just Lafayette Parish."

You can join MPCS in celebrating this year's Honorees and all survivors at the Cajundome and Convention Center Saturday, August 16th from 10am-4pm for the 14th Annual Games of Acadiana.

This family fun day is filled with over 60 games and activities for all ages to enjoy. For more
information on Game Day, or on the services that Miles Perret Cancer Services provides, visit
