Mother speaks out about bullying at North Central High

A St. Landry Parish mother says she has the video to prove her son is being bullied, and she demands something be done about it.

The incident took place at North Central High School in St. Landry Parish, where one student repeatedly hit another in his head, even after the child tried to walk away.

Christine Vaughn, the victim's mother, says she fears for her child's safety.

"I'm kind of scared right now because I mean you just never know, because I never thought anything like this would happen to him but it did, so just right now I'm just scared," Vaughn said. "I'm scared for him."

We spoke to North Central principal Travis Bush, who says the the incident is being investigated. We're told the student in the video doing the hitting is being recommended for expulsion.
