After a winter "preview" with several mornings of sub-freezing temperatures it appears that warmer conditions will be likely through much of the next week.
After a possibly a frosty start Saturday, look for mostly sunny and pleasant conditions for the afternoon with highs in the mild mid-60s.
The weather looks great for the Ragin Cajun game with kick-off temperatures in the 50s but likely chilling into the 40s by the end of the game.
High and mid-level clouds will invade the area Sunday but it should stay dry with highs generally in the mid-upper 60s.
A weakening disturbance/front may provide the focus for a few showers early Monday but a warming trend will likely continue for most of the week.
Next week will feature plenty of clouds, daytime highs in the 70s with lows warming into the more humid 60s.
A southerly flow off of the Gulf may provide the chance of a few mainly daytime scattered showers mid-late next week with increasing rain chances ahead and perhaps following the next front which should arrive next Saturday night or Sunday.
There are hints that the front may stall in our area which could keep plenty of clouds and rain chances beyond next weekend.
