Well it's taken a while but temperatures in Acadiana will get back to where the should be this weekend for early March with highs approaching 70 degrees.
Expect plenty of clouds this weekend but some intervals of afternoon sun will be possible especially for the afternoon hours.
A weakening disturbance will approach the area from the west Saturday night into Sunday allowing for the chance of scattered showers, perhaps an isolated thunderstorm.
Highs this weekend will be in the upper 60s to lower 70s this weekend while overnight lows moderate into the 50s.
Some late night/early morning fog will be possible over the next several nights.
The weather pattern looks unsettled and mild into early next week with the risk of showers Monday and a better chance of showers, possibly a few storms, Tuesday. Daytime highs will continue in the upper 60s to lower 70s.
And for a change, there may be an extended period of generally fair and cool (not cold) weather later next week with a moderating trend into the following weekend.
And by the way, don't forget to "spring" your clocks ahead Saturday night as we return to Central Daylight Savings Time!
