MARRERO, La. (AP) - Jefferson Parish sheriff's deputies say a Marrero man who spent three days working offshore came home to find his estranged wife holed up with another man and the makings of a meth lab.
The Times-Picayune reports authorities seized methamphetamine, precursor chemicals and other drug paraphernalia in the house on Friday.
The man told deputies he is separated from his wife, 32-year-old Kelly Williams, who lives with relatives in Chalmette.
Deputies say 43-year-old Stephen Hamilton, of Metairie, was found standing in the owner's shower.
Hamilton and Williams were booked with creation of a clandestine lab, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
It was unclear whether Hamilton and Williams have attorneys.
