BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Baton Rouge attorney Jim Craft says an LSU Veterinary School professor accused of sexually harassing a former student has been fired by the school.
Craft tells The Advocate Marc Boudreaux was given a letter by the university Wednesday saying he was terminated but the university did not specifically explain why.
Craft says Boudreaux will challenge the firing in court.
She says Boudreaux is innocent of the allegations of the woman.
LSU spokeswoman Kristine Calongne told the newspaper Boudreaux is no longer employed by the university.
Calongne would not confirm if Boudreaux had been fired by LSU, citing it as a private personnel matter.
