BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - A state district judge has delayed the trial of Michael Louding, who's accused of being an acquitted rapper's hit man.
The trial was scheduled Monday. The Advocate reports it was re-set to April 18 because Louding's attorney is ill.
Rapper Torence "Lil Boosie" Hatch was found innocent last year of paying Louding to kill Terry Boyd.
Alleged getaway driver Adrian Pittman pleaded guilty in November to manslaughter and is scheduled for sentencing April 24.
Louding, known as "Marlo Mike," also is accused of five other killings in 2009 and 2010. He's charged in those cases with four counts of first-degree murder and one of second-degree murder.
